I MADE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you had told me several weeks ago I would finish this I would have laughed. Actually, I did enjoy it & learned a lot. Is that a sign of age when you admit you actually enjoyed something you were dreading? Anyway, the Wiki exercise was my absolute least favorite, but I did love exploring Podcasts. I enjoyed learning how to link to the various things I want others to see or read about. I didn't know it was so easy. To summarize this I learned a lot of new things and, for the most part - minus Wikis, enjoyed myself in the process.

This was time consuming, but I think I would probably be interested in another discovery program if one is offered.

Social Networking

I've visited MySpace before but I didn't know Facebook existed. I think I like Facebook better than MySpace. Facebook seems easier to use...did I just say easier to use...that should be "user friendly" now shouldn't it? Kim Brooks has already adopted me as her friend on Facebook.

#21 - PODCASTS

I tried out all 3 directories. They were ok, but I must admit the book reviews were a little boring. I preferred the sports and technology podcasts. All though this was a little interesting it was not my favorite assignment. It's not something I can see me using a lot.

YouTube

I've used YouTube before. I think it probably has several educational uses. I've chosen an Ohio University Marching 110 clip from YouTube. My parents love to see the band, but are unable to climb around in the stands, etc. I came across the Marching 110 quite by accident about a year ago and they really enjoyed seeing all the clips.

Discovering Web 2.0 tools

Ok, this my favorite so far. I loved going to Music then Pandora. Awesome! I sing in the church choir & do some solo work so music is something I love. Pandora was so easy to navigate. I think finding it could have been a mistake!!! I also found Travel interesting too. In fact, I'm finding all of this far to interesting. I think I really should get back to work!
